Net Oil Solution - the next generation of net oil computing!
The Net Oil Solution or N-O-S combines the best of a traditional net oil computer with state of the art communications, flexible measurement capabilities and available well header control. Designed and fabricated in-house to exacting specifications, each NOS brings flexibility and ease of use to your operation.
With the NOS, you decide what measurement technology to use. Configuring the NOS is easy using our PC-based software. Begin by choosing the type of measurement to use. Emulsion only, Emulsion and Water or, Emulsion, Water and Gas.
Then choose whether to measure single or multiple wells.
Then select the measurement technology to use…
turbine or positive displacement meter, differential pressure using an orifice plate or V-cone, or a coriolis meter such as Micromotion.
Then choose how the measurement signal is sent to the NOS. Analog input, high-speed counter, or for the coriolis meter Modbus RS-485.
With the combination of a coriolis meter on the emulsion line with Modbus RS-485, you have the option of measuring the water cut percentage using the density measurement. No cut probe is required.
Other options include pressure and temperature compensation utilizing API 11 calculations for oil and NX-19 calculation for gas.
The multi-well configuration allows configurable well names and test times.
The NOS provides three RS-232 or RS-485 Modbus communications ports and one Modbus Ethernet port.
